‘Bhai Sahib Bhai Narain Singh Ji instituted “Guru Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust” in 1934 at Sidhwan Khurd to promote the cause of the girl’s education and for the management of educational institutions established under it. Bhai Sahib donated his entire property in the name of The Trust. He himself was the first President of the Trust. His daughter, Padma Shri Bibi Harparkash Kaur Ji became the President of the Trust after the demise of her father Bhai Sahib Bhai Narain Singhi Ji on August 21, 1944. S. Mohinder Singh Sidhwan, S. Jagdev Singh Sidhwan, Capt. Dalbara Singh and S. SurjitSingh were the Presidents of the Trust. They all have put their heart and soul to enkindle the light ofknowledge and awakening among the ignorant masses. We cannot forget the contribution of other Trustmembers like Babu Anokh Singh, Bhai Gulzar Singh, S. Ujagar Singh, Smt. Wajir Kaur and S. Natha Singh.The legacy is carried on by S.
